Black Jack® 6080-9-34 Rubr-Coat #57 Premium Rubberized Fibered Coating, 3.6 Qt

A premium rubberized coating for waterproofing roofs & foundations. This liquid applied asphalt coating has a blend of rubber and reinforcing fibers to provide a strong, flexible, waterproof seal. Rubr-Coat has exceptional adhesion to existing roofing, masonry surfaces, wood, foam board insulation and metal surfaces. The addition of rubber enhances performance by improving crack resistance, life expectancy and adds increased waterproofing protection. Product is black in color. As a Roof Coating, this product seals worn out roof surfaces and provides a tough flexible waterproof seal. As a Foundation Coating, this product seals masonry, foam board insulation, wood and metal surfaces to protect, preserve and damp-proof, below grade surfaces. This multi-use product forms a tough rubberized seal for lasting protection on a variety of surfaces. Rubr-Coat may be used to adhere foam board insulation to masonry surfaces. When used to coat the exterior surface this product will act as a protective coating for the foam board.

Preparation:

• Surfaces must be cleaned, free of dust, surface rust and loose material. If possible, power wash surface before applying coating. Use brush to spread across surface of roof. Use in exterior applications only. Wear protective clothing. Don't apply to wet surfaces.

Application:

• Apply on a clear warm day with no rain expected for 24 hours. Apply when surface temperatures are between 70° and 110°f. Mixing may be required to ensure product uniformity. Do not apply direct heat/flames or thin. Topcoat all roof applications with a black jack reflective roof coating. Allow rubr-coat #57 to cure a minimum of 15 days prior to application of reflective coatings. When used as a foundation coating, allow poured concrete to cure at least 30 days prior to application.

Coverage rate:

• Covers approximately 50 sq. ft. per gal/per coat. Two coats are recommended.

Precautions:

• Protective clothing and eyewear should be used during application of this product. When transporting this product, ensure that lid is tight and pail secure and upright. Do not allow pail to tumble as this may cause lid to loosen and leakage to occur. Do not transport on passenger seats or inside the passenger compartment of any vehicle. Store product in the cargo area of vehicle, and secure over protective cloths to prevent damage due to accidental spills. Do not store at temperatures above 100°F. This manufacturer also disclaims liability for flat surface application where poor drainage or ponding water may prevail. Do not reuse empty containers. Do not use in drinking water or food systems. Do not freeze. Do not use on single ply or synthetic roofs. If there is any question regarding compatibility, test a small section first.

Clean-up:

• While wet, clean tools or spills with soap and water.
