Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5 L5 – Prevent BVD, IBR & Lepto

In providing complete reproductive and respiratory coverage against breeding and pregnant cattle, Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5 L5 is an MLV vaccine modified for cattle. Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis, Bovine Viral Diarrhea (Types 1 & 2), Parainfluenza3, Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus, and five strains of Leptospirosis (L5) are among the diseases it prevents. It protects against early-term abortions, fetal infection, and reproductive loss, and as such, should be an integral part of a breeding herd health program.

Can pregnant cows be vaccinated with this vaccine?

Yes, as long as they have been previously vaccinated with a Bovi-Shield Gold FP vaccine within the last 12 months. Otherwise, administered before breeding.

How is Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5 L5 administered?

It is given in the form of a 2 mL intramuscular (IM) injection. Calves need to be vaccinated at least 30 days before breeding for full protection.
