Purchased from a vintage clothing store in Harajuku 40 years ago.
It has a triangle tag, so it's likely from the 50s to 60s.
PENNEY'S 100% rayon material for a comfortable feel.
Aloha shirt, eagle pattern, made in Japan.
(There is no clear distinction between eagles and hawks; larger ones are called eagles, smaller ones are called hawks.)
Both are carnivorous birds with a fierce nature, possessing sharp beaks and claws.
The pattern features an eagle with sharp eyes perched atop a pine tree floating on the vast ocean.
It embodies the wish to be strong, resilient, and a king.
Worn only a few times when I was in high school.
Stored after being dry-cleaned.
