These are WINNING Costumes! We won both contests we entered! The spider and the fly were the talk of the town! These are handmade one of a kind costumes!
The spider costume is like a backpack style, the straps come over the shoulders crisscross and velcro to a hard cardboard (less weight) spider back. The legs are pool noodles attached with zip ties into the hard cardboard spider back. The hat is a velvety beanie with attached eyes and faux fur shirt are separate from the spider "backpack." Paired with black long sleeve & blavk pants.
The fly costume is a faux fur long-ish "shirt" with velcro wings on the back paired with a black long sleeve & black pants. The fly hat is double lined with cotton inside/faux fur outside and ties under the chin.
These were worn for 2 contests and trick or treating with no problems (surprisingly with 2 littles). Ages worn were 4 & 3.
