The dress and hat are in good condition from a smoke free home. The hat band shows signs of aging. The glue has dried and shows through the band. The berries have transferred some color to the straw.

Dress
Blue and off-white striped short-sleeved drop-shouldered cotton dress. Square high neckline. White piping at shoulder seams and cuffs of sleeves. Gathered waist band with horizontal stripe layout. Front false placket and front seam. Five cream two-hole oval concentric-style buttons: three on bodice, one on waist, and one below. Back of bodice has diagonal shoulder seams. Two tucked up "growth stripes" at bottom of dress. Plain hem. Velcros up the back.
Hat
Straw boater hat. Round hat with low crown and wide brim. Black ribbon trim around crown and tied in bow. Attached decorative cherries with three-leaf gathering on bow of hat.
The outfit was modified in late 2008 and removed the hat.
