The PRIER P-260 Heavy Duty Ground Hydrant is an easy to use, full-flow ground hydrant with an optional double check valve and vacuum breaker with an adjustable operating stem. Unlike other hydrants, this stem and plunger can be removed without touching the cast iron head or interfering with the submerged inlet connection. To service other hydrants, the whole cast iron head must be removed from the galvanized pipe before the stem can be accessed or removed. By eliminating this procedure, PRIER has made future service of the valve very simple, creating a more reliable hydrant.
