Small Hand-woven Kigezi Basket with Attached Lid - Africa
Kigezi baskets, known for their beautiful woven designs, are made in Southwest Uganda, in the Kigezi region.
This basket with attached lid is about 4" tall. The triangle designs were originally vibrant blue but have faded to a bluish gray. Inside is still the original blue color. Otherwise in good vintage condition. The tag from original purchase remains attached.
