Sterling Bracelet - Created by Renown Navajo Silversmith Nora Tahe
A classic Southwestern Indian sterling cuff bracelet by the Navajo silversmith Nora Tahe. The cuff has seven independent pieces: a narrow band at each edge, a large and small twisted coil at each side, and a wide center band. All are connected with a horizontal bar at the tips. The center band is decorated with traditional stampings. Although not soldered together, the pieces appear as one piece.
Known for her distinctive coil work, Nora Tahe brings traditional Navajo silversmithing techniques into a modern, wearable form.
The bracelet has not been recently polished and has a somewhat dark patina.
1½" wide, 2⅜" inside, 1½" gap, weighs 94.3 grams. Inside circumference 6¾”.
