Presented here is a Swedish Mid-Century Modern Seaweed art glass vase by Swedish glass artist Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta Boda in 1962. Superb example of the Mykene technique that Lindstrand developed in the 1930s. hand blown vase so each item is unique in its own right. The vase is signed on base and has the Kosta Label.
Vicke Lindstrand was a master of form and applied decoration. His glass and ceramic works during his career reflect his adaptabilty to various media and techniques.
