Vintage 100 yr-old plate by Porzellanfabrik Schönwald Department Arzberg

The backstamp aligns with a specific export mark used by the Porzellanfabrik Schönwald (Schönwald Porcelain Factory), Department Arzberg, located in Arzberg, Bavaria, Germany. The “Oremont” is an export trademark (not the factory name), and the circular mark is a stylized version of their standard backstamp from that era, where “P.P.” likely stands for “Porzellanfabrik” and “A.A.” for “Abteilung Arzberg” (Arzberg Department). This black-ink variant was common for pieces intended for the U.S. market.
