Vintage Authentic signed Navajo Horsehair Pottery Pot By Dena Johnson

Really cool and in pristine condition is this vintage handmade and authentic Navajo horsehair Pottery pot and was designed and handcrafted by very well known Native American Indian artist Dena Johnson- for No two pieces are alike and each one is uniquely different from the next. The pot is hand etched meaning the artist carves the design into the body of clay before it is even fired and the unique designs are created during the firing. While the horse hair is applied to the hot surface which carbonizes the exterior of the Piece leaving behind the distinctive black lines in a one-of-a-kind signed piece. And this beautiful piece measures in at 5.5"tall x 7"wide and is an absolute beautiful piece of Native American pottery.
