Vintage star ruby sterling silver necklace pendant. Acquired from a private estate collection, this brutalist style pendant was artisan made in Taxco, Mexico. It features a genuine ruby gemstone cut in an oval cabochon shape with purple red color and star phenomenon that appears in direct sunlight. As the stone is genuine, there are natural surface imperfections, including one small depression, as seen in the side profile of the stone. Modernist style setting with hallmarks stamped on bail ring. 1.6” length and 0.6” width. Excellent pre-owned condition.
