This stunning bowl in golden honey colored myrtlewood is smooth to the touch with a fine lustre. Myrtlewood is a beautiful wood from the Myrtle tree which grows in Oregon and northern California. The House of Myrtlewood was one of the oldest businesses in Coos Bay, Oregon. Myrtlewood was purchased as logs from local loggers and completely processed into fine myrtlewood products. After 88 years of making ornate Myrtlewood products, The House of Myrtlewood closed its factory in 2018. Lovely enough to display on its own or with favorite seashells and pinecones inside.
