This Authentic LV Monogram Pochette Pliante
Clutch "folding clutch" was produced in 1979 & recently cleaned. Hardware is clean, polished & fully functional. Interior leather & exterior canvas thoroughly cleaned & polished. Exterior vachetta/cowhide has a very light patina. Unsnapping the front & unfolding the bag exposes a zipper compartment, also in great condition. Made in France & measuring 12" x 8.5" in size. No stains, major scratches, wear on the edges, etc. Piping is intact, no chafing, stickiness or odors. Please note, bag does not have a date code, it was produced in 1979, LV didn't start using date codes until 1980-1982, but it does have a heat stamp, which was the measure of authenticity prior to the use of date codes. LV didn't produce & use their own zippers until the mid-1980's, all zippers prior were produced by 3rd party suppliers - - Eclair, Talon, Robin, & Coats & Clark. This bag specifically has an Eclair zipper, please see pic provided.
