Vintage Western Germany oval brooch featuring a polished brown and cream banded stone with subtle copper flecks, set in an ornate ruffled gold tone filigree frame. The sideways stone orientation and abstract marbled pattern give this mid-century piece a unique sculptural look.
The brooch measures approximately 1 7/8" long by 2 1/2" wide. It secures with a rollover clasp on the back and is signed on a round cartouche “Western Germany.”
Circa 1950s–1960s.
This brooch is in excellent vintage condition with light age-related wear to the metal finish. Please review all photos for details.
