This very vintage (could be antique) needs restoration but it is rare, elegant, and gorgeous. 1st dibs had something similar. This vintage decorative box features artwork by Edgard Maxence depicting Les Capucines Sevigne. The exterior showcases a repeating motif of monks in hooded robes walking along an arched balcony with a cityscape in the background. The sides of the box feature portraits and a central cartouche with French text. The interior of the box is lined with a paper featuring sheet music. Internet shows this used to be a chocolate confectionary box. This unique piece is a charming addition to antique ephemera. Needs TLC, please look at the pictures. It is functional as is, but it is up to buyer to restore it. No returns if altered.
