The Yongnuo 85mm f/1.8S DF DSM Lens is a compact short telephoto prime designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Its bright f/1.8 aperture provides excellent low-light performance and greater depth of field control, ideal for isolating subjects with smooth background blur. Built with nine elements in eight groups, the optical design includes one low dispersion element to minimise chromatic aberrations and colour fringing, along with a high refractive index element that reduces spherical aberrations and distortion for sharp, clear image quality. A nano multi-layer coating enhances contrast by suppressing flare and ghosting in challenging lighting. The DSM stepping motor ensures fast, accurate, and quiet autofocus, making it suitable for both photography and video use.
